The European Conference on Neutron Scattering 2019 (ECNS 2019) will take place in the new Conference venue is the MANEGE CENTRAL EXHIBITION HALL. Address: 1 Isaakiyevskaya Ploshchad The MANEGE CENTRAL EXHIBITION HALL is the largest display space in central St. Petersburg. |
The exhibition hall occupies the building of the historical riding hall - or the manege - of the Horse Guards regiment (architect – Giacomo Quarenghi, 1807). Over the course of the 19th-20th centuries, in parallel to the dramatic changes in Russia’s history, the building of the manege had undergone a series of major changes. |
After a major refurbishment in 2013-2016, which included the installation of state-of-the-art exhibition facilities, Manege is now one of Russia's most in-demand venues for exhibitions and world-level events.
Modern equipment taken together with Manege's unique location in the very heart of the city has made Manege a key point of attraction on the city’s events map.
